Alia Bhatt stuns in Gucci gown on BAFTA red carpet
Alia Bhatt brought a touch of old‑school glamour to the BAFTAs at the Royal Festival Hall, as she arrived as one of the evening’s presenters, turning heads in a custom silver Gucci gown. The sequinned dress, designed with a high neckline and a sculpted, form‑fitting silhouette, shimmered under the red‑carpet lights, giving her a standout moment among the night’s most photographed stars. She paired the look with a soft white fur stole, adding a classic, vintage finish to her appearance.
Speaking on the red carpet, Alia reflected on her deep connection to acting, saying she has always felt most herself in front of the camera. “I say this all the time, but I think I came out of my mother’s womb on action. I feel most myself in front of the camera. Being in front of the camera is a blessing. I feel so grateful that I love my job so deeply. But I have to say that my true source of inspiration and magic right now is my daughter, Raha,” she said.
The evening also saw Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar make a stylish entrance, adding to the strong Indian presence at one of Britain’s biggest awards nights.
