Ali Fazal excited about ‘Fukrey’ sequel

‘Fukrey’ released in 2013 and it seems a sequel wasn’t something that was being planned then. However, recently it’s been announced that a second instalment will begin in the summer. Ali Fazal, who will be reprising his role, is excited about the new film.

Talking to TOI, Fazal said, “Oh I am thrilled to hear about this… I think in our own ways, we have been egging Mrig to bring out another masterpiece.”

He added, “So finally some ideas came together and ‘Fukrey Part 2’ has come into being. I think we begin in August, so I am trying to wrap up all my movie work before that and have enough time to prep for the second part”.
