Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ on track for Independence Day release

Recently, there was news that Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz starrer ‘Rustom’ was perhaps not going to be ready for the Indian Independence Day release. However, it appears that the film will indeed be set for that release date.

A source spoke to Box Office India, “He is currently shooting��Robot 2 and then heading to London at the end of this month for the last schedule of Rustom. It�۪s a 10-15 day schedule, which will be a wrap for Rustom“.

Kumar will be shooting for ‘Ikka’ post ‘Rustom’ and ‘Robot 2’. The source continued, “In Ikka, the actor will be playing a double role, due to which he will be focusing exclusively on that film or it will become too hectic. The film will be shot in one stretch, which is why he hasn�۪t signed anything else post Ikka”.
