Akshay Kumar will be teaming-up with director Priyadarshan for a remake of Vetimaaran’s film ‘Visaranai’.
Mumbai Mirror reports that Priyadarshan has bought the rights to the thriller movie.
Vetimaaran confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, “Late last year, Priyadarshan saw Visaranai and was blown away. Two days later he called me to say it was the best film he’d seen in a decade and bought the rights. He will direct and produce the Hindi film himself.”
Priyadarshan previously worked with Kumar in 2010’s ‘Khatta Meeta’.
