Akshay Kumar on trying to be a “hero”

Akshay Kumar recently used his social media to put the spotlight on the films that he has forthcoming, quashing any rumours that might’ve been doing the rounds. The actor, when quizzed on the number of films in his slate, had a candid response.

According to ANI, Kumar – while addressing the media – said, “I am trying to be a hero, forget about super hero. There are a lot of super heroes in the industry”.

Recently, it was announced that Khan would be starring in a joint Dharma and Salman Khan Films production. He is also to be seen in ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ and also ‘2.0’.

It is being rumoured that his wife’s production ‘Padman’ will not star him but it is not known whether this is true.
