Akshay Kumar on his son: “He wants to have his own identity”

Fans cannot wait to see their favorite Khiladi actor in action with the popular survivalist Bear Grylls on the small screen. Well, there are more in store for the ardent fans. The superstar, in a candid chat with Bear Grylls during their journey across the Bandipur Tiger Reserve along with showing his adventures side also opened-up and spoke about his relationship with his son, Aarav. In a candid conversation, actor revealed that his son prefers staying away from the limelight which he also misses sometimes.

When Bear asked him how different it is for children growing up when their father is well known, Akshay replied, “My son is very different. I mean, he just doesn’t want to tell anyone that he’s my son. He wants to be away from the limelight. He wants to have his own identity. That’s what the whole thing and I understand it. So, I let him be the way he wants to.”

Akshay also wishes that whatever values and rules his father taught him, his son gets that too, “He’s (Akshay’s father) the only influence I have in my life and I’ve followed all his rules and all his things that he has taught me. And I hope my son gets that.”
