Akshay insisted on casting Katrina in ‘Sooryavanshi’?

BizAsiaLive.com reported a short while back that Akshay Kumar could be seen reuniting with Katrina Kaif in the upcoming ‘Sooryavanshi’, being helmed by Rohit Shetty. However the latest news suggests that this wasn’t an easy decision.

Pinkvilla reports that it will indeed by Kaif as leading lady in the film because Kumar was insistent even though Shetty was keen on casting someone else.

No doubt many will be excited at seeing them come together on screen after some time.
