Ajay Devgn thinks social media has a big role in film promotions

After playing a cop in uniform for 15 years Ajay Devgn will be seen as a bad guy in his upcoming venture, ‘Raid’. The actor believes that the film promotions are more important and social media plays a vital role.

“Promotions play an important role. Having say that, I don’t like to overhype the promotions for my film. Finally, it is word of mouth that drives the film,” said the actor, according to Asian Age.

“We read a lot of negative stories today. These sentiments are fanned on social media, which isn’t even real. Everyone is a critic online. I think we could stop creating problems online if we don’t give them the attention,” the actor adds.

Devgn feels that promoting films on social media is more fruitful in recent times.
