Aishwarya chooses Irrfan Khan over Arjun Rampal?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to make her comeback onscreen with Sanjay Gupta�۪s ��Jazbaa�۪.�� According to Gupta, while finalising the male lead, Rai Bachchan preferred the idea of casting Irrfan Khan instead of Arjun Rampal.

���I discussed it with Aishwarya. ��We could either go the Arjun way or the Irrfan way. ��Aishwarya liked the idea of casting the latter,�۝ Gupta said to Mumbai Mirror.

The filmmaker went on to speak about the characters Rai Bachchan and Khan would be playing.�� He said, ���Irrfan plays a suspended cop, a loose cannon��_ Aishwarya plays a lawyer. ��The film will not depict any romance between the two but culminates on a note where you get a feeling that Aishwarya and Irrfan’s equation might develop into a relationship later.�۝

Rai Bachchan, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali�۪s ��Guzaarish�۪ (2010), starts shooting for ��Jazbaa�۪ from January 2015.�� John Abraham will also be seen in the film, in a cameo role.
