After ‘KZK’, shoots of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ & ‘Pavitra Bhagya’ also halted?

Earlier today, it was confirmed that lead actor of Star Plus’ hit show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, Parth Samthaan had contracted coronavirus. This led to the shoot of the Balaji Telefilms series to be stopped with immediate effect.

Now latest buzz suggests that the production house’s other key shows ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV and ‘Pavitra Bhagya’ on Colors have also been impacted due to the entry and exit pathways at Kilick Nixon studios being the same. IWM Buzz reports that the crew of all the shows will be tested for Covid-19 and quarantined until further notice.

A source told the publication, “Shoots at Kilick Nixon have stopped today and we wonder whether work will happen tomorrow considering that the Kasautii Zindagii Kay set are in the same vicinity.”

It is reported that the shows could resume in three days depending on the outcome of Covid-19 results.

Incidentally, fresh episodes of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Pavitra Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ return on-air on Monday 13th July.
