Aditya Pancholi booked for assaulting neighbour

Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi has been booked (not arrested) for allegedly punching and assaulting his 55-year-old neighbour and educationist Bhargav Patel.

Mid-Day reports that Versoval Police has slapped various charged on Pancholi following evidence on CCTV of the incident.

The report adds that the incident took place late night on 19th June when Pancholi “pounced” on Patel over a minor parking brawl, at their housing society in the posh Versova area of north-west Mumbai.

This is the second incident involving the duo in the past six months. Police said the first happened on 15th January.

Pancholi’s family has been embroiled in controversy since their son Suraj Pancholi was arrested by police allegedly abetting the suicide of Bollywood actress Nafisa alias Jiah Khan. He is in custody until 11th July.
