Aditi Rao Hydari is set to perform a folk dance number in John Abraham’s forthcoming film ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’.

According to DNA India, originally Sunny Leone had been approached, but film makers changed their decision. A close source revealed the reason behind Hydari replacing Leone, “What worked in her favour is that she is an exceptional dancer. The song is an important part of the story. The song isn’t an item number. It is an Indian classical folk number, which is also patriotic in nature. The makers wanted to stay true to the national theme and sentiment of the film and didn’t want to spoil the taste with a raunchy item track. They will shoot the song in Rajasthan next month.”

‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ is based on India’s second nuclear test that took place at the Indian Army test range located in Pokhran. The film is slated to release on 23rd February 2018.
