Abhishek Bachchan to feature in ‘Shootout 3’?

During the promotions for his last film ��Jazbaa�۪ (2015), Sanjay Gupta had confirmed that he�۪d be making a film with Abhishek Bachchan. It�۪s now emerged that it could well be the third instalment of the ��Shootout�۪ franchise.

Bachchan himself is quoted by DNA saying he�۪s signed a film with Gupta, ���I have liked the idea of Sanjay�۪s film. It�۪s an intense gangster drama. We are definitely working on that film. But the team is reworking the script at the moment. Sanjay, too, is busy with Kaabil and will direct this film only after that�۝.

A source is said to have hinted that the film in question could be part of the ��Shootout�۪ franchise, ���Sanjay who has made Shootout At Wadala and Shootout At Lokhandwala wanted to start the third Shootout film right away, but it took some time to take off. He is almost ready with the script now and will begin Shootout 3 with Abhi after he finishes shooting Kaabil with Hrithik Roshan. The film will revolve around encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar, who had killed as many as 80 anti-social elements. It�۪s a gritty action drama, true to the franchise�۝.
