In an age when actors go all out to promote their films, actor Abhay Deol finds the whole exercise of promotion rather tedious.

Deol is in the midst of promoting his upcoming venture ‘Chakravyuh‘, and though he doesn’t seem to mind it, he’s not particularly fond of it either.

“It’s harder to promote than to shoot a film. You just have to be patient. It gets a little tiring,” he said to TheTimes of India.

When asked why he doesn’t like promoting films he said;”Anybody would get bored. There are so many publications, so many channels. It is also frustrating when there are silly stories that are completely false and everybody asking the same question legitimises them. You can put the sources and legitimise anything.”

It had been alleged that Deol wasn’t too happy with director Prakash Jha, as he felt the director was favouring co-star Arjun Rampal over him in the film. When asked to comment the actor was quick to answer, “Ask your sources.”

Set to release on October 24th, ‘Chakravyuh‘ also starsEsha Gupta, Manoj Bajpai, Om Puri andKabir Bedi.
