Aanand L Rai keen to get SRK on board for future project

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai was recently asked if he would be willing to work with Shah Rukh Khan again, despite their previous failure of ‘Zero’ (2018) and he said he’s keen to do another film with the actor.

In the recent interview, Rai expressed his eagerness for a reunion, but he added he was waiting for the proper opportunity. “We are working really hard to reach him now, we are working towards it. Maybe it will take a few more years or if tomorrow we have a story which he likes, we will be there. He is all heart,” he said, according to Box Office Worldwide.

‘Zero’ marked the pair’s first collaboration. However, it was a massive failure at the box office. Some say this caused a major setback for both the star and the director with reports saying the two fell out.

‘Zero’ marked the reunion of Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif for the first time since the hit, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (2012). But despite receiving praise for its visual effects, the earnings fell short of the $100 million mark.
