Overnights: Star Plus remains ahead on Thursday in UK

Despite a battering from rival channels, Star Plus remained ahead in the UK on Thursday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share stood at 0.17%, compared to No.2 player, Hum TV with a share of 0.11%. Star Plus’ top watch on Thursday was the penultimate episode of ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 18:30 with 90,300 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 62,500 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 58,900 viewers. ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 was watched by 47,100 viewers.

Hum TV stayed strong with ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ remaining the biggest attraction with 51,300 viewers, followed by ‘Adhan-e-Isha’ with 48,600 viewers and ‘Chand Pe Dastak’ at 23:30 with 32,500 viewers.

Colors moved up to third place with a share of 0.05%. Its top show was ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 30,600 viewers.

Samaa TV was the biggest South Asian news channel with a share of 0.05%.

New Vision TV and Sony TV were next with a share of 0.04%.

ZEE TV’s share was at 0.03% with ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ repeat at midday pulling in 19,900 viewers and repeat of ‘Aapke Aa Jane Se’ at 12:30 with 18,500 viewers.
