‘Manmarziyaan’ shoot unaffected by Sonamarg shutdown

The last schedule of ‘Manmarziyaan’, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal took place in Sonamarg last week. The town is in Jammu and Kashmir, and the film’s schedule collided with separatists that called for a two day shutdown, and although Bachchan was stopped at the airport, the shooting schedule remained unaffected.

Mirror reports a source saying, “Police officials briefed Abhishek about the security situation when he landed in Srinagar. Because of the shutdown, all roads leading to Sonamarg were blocked at several places.” Bachchan was later escorted to Sonamarg amidst tight security.
