Salaam-e-Ishq to be recreated in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’

Its the season of remakes and sequels, with latest reports suggesting that the classic song “Salaam-e-Ishq” will be recreated for ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’.

The Asian Age reports that Dharmendra and Rekha will be coming together for a medley number in the film and they will be seen in the song originally taken from ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’ (1978). The song is also likely to see cameos by Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha.

A source told the publication, “Rekha looks absolutely ethereal even today when performing this number. Today, it feels like there is no one else that could do justice when performing the song.”

It added, “The very shy Sunny Deol has been added to the list last minute only because Salman wanted both the brothers Sunny and Bobby to join in.”
