The event now in its fourth year is helmed by media legend, Rajan Singh. AVTA 2017 was hosted by television personality Karan Tacker and Tommy Sandhu. Also in attendance at the event were TV stars Nakuul Mehta and Drashti Dhami.

Star Plus was the biggest winner of the night with four gongs – General Entertainment Channel Of The Year, Best Soap (Ishqbaaaz), Male Actor Of The Year (Nakuul Menta – Ishqbaaaz), Female Actor Of The Year (Surbhi Chandna – Ishqbaaaz).
