Zoya Akhtar to cast Ranveer Singh instead of Ranbir Kapoor?

Much had been said about Zoya Akhtar’s next which is apparently a story surrounding the relationship between a brother and a sister. Initially, rumours suggested that the director was hopeful of bringing Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor together on screen. However, the latest indicates that she is now wanting to cast Ranveer Singh.

What with Ranbir having a busy diary for the best part of the next 12 months, it seems Akhtar has had to move on. News has it that she is now going to take her script to Singh.
