Zoya Akhtar convinces Parmeet Sethi to return to films

After a seven-year break, Zoya Akhtar finally managed to convince Parmeet Sethi to films for her upcoming film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Sethi who was last seen in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Dus Kahaniyaan’ (2007), will be playing a negative character.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Parmeet was really surprised when he got a call from Zoya. But at the same time, he was thrilled too because he had loved her two earlier films, Luck By Chance and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. He did not take long to give his nod to the project.”

Sethi’s wife Archana Puran Singh confirmed the news to the paper.
