Zohra Sehgal passes away at 102

Veteran actress Zohra Sehgal has passed away at the age of 102, BizAsia can confirm. She was in hospital in New Delhi and is believed to have died of a heart attack.

Sehgal started her career as a dancer in Uday Shankar�۪s troupe in 1935 and was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali�۪s ��Saawariya�۪ in 2007. She was seen and loved in a few films including ��Bhaji on the Beach�۪ (1992), ��Bend it Like Beckham�۪ (2002) and also ��Veer-Zaara�۪ (2007).

Sehgal also has a few Hollywood films to her name, always known for her exemplary English, wit and charisma that was often unmatchable by her fellow veterans. She has also been associated with British television series.
