Zing UK set for a schedule revamp in February

Popular entertainment and lifestyle channel, Zing will be launching a number of new shows to overhaul its schedule.

As revealed first on BizAsia a few days ago, the channel will launch a daily British-Asian music show called ‘Brit Beatz’ daily at 16:00. This new show will act as a platform for not only showcasing but also encouraging this creativity and capturing the next generation of talent. The channel is calling out to artists to get in touch and have their creative juices shared with Zing�۪s million plus viewers.

Bhangra music will sit alongside Zing�۪s signature Bollywood music ��� with the mornings featuring popular Bollywood tunes before 09:00 with the newly branded show ‘Rise & Shine’ – ‘Bollywood Beats’. Music lovers will then get to enjoy only the freshest Bollywood music on the scene with another newly branded slot ‘Latest Hits’ at 14:00 in the afternoon amongst other times during the day.

The channel is rumoured to also launch an interactive Jukebox slot whereby viewers will be able to control the music played on the channel. ZEE Network is yet to confirm the news. The changes take place from Monday 2nd February.

This month, Zing extended its Bollywood movie offerings to weeknights at 20:00. The channel now boasts of Bollywood movies everyday.
