Zindagi India to scrap Pakistani shows?

ZEE Network’s Zindagi channel in India is likely to axe Pakistani shows from its channel, in a response to the Uri terror attacks.

Essel Group and ZEE Media, Chairman, Subhash Chandra Goel expressed his dismay at the Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif’s stance at the United Nations. He tweeted a message saying the group’s Zindagi channel could cease support of all Pakistani shows on its channel. This echoes the sentiments of the political MNS party where they threatened Pakistani Bollywood stars like Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to leave the country or “face the consequences”.

Zindagi is India’s first channel to broadcast shows from Pakistan.
