ZEE’s Astitva Ek Prem Kahani to hit British shores

ZEE TV’s flagship soap Astitva Ek Prem Kahani will be introducing some friendly foreign faces in episodes to be shown in February. The team of the much popular daily soap will be arriving in London next month to shoot some essential scenes that will revolve around the female protagonist of the soap-Dr Simran.

Before that fans of the soap will see Astitva change track with two international faces – Susanne Bernert from Germany and Vivek Gomber from Singapore. Gomber will play Simran bua’s (Anju Mahendru) son who is in love with an older woman who is also a divorcee (essayed by Gombher).

“The track will have the London-based bua land up in Mumbai along with her son and his girlfriend,” says producer-director Ajai Sinha. “After Simran?s failed marriages, bua is worried and concerned about her son and his relationship. They arrive in Mumbai to talk things over with Simran and sort out the matter,” he adds. “We will be shooting for about 10 days there which will see a major twist in the track. It will have bua and her son and her girlfriend at their home along with Simran,” adds Sinha.
