ZEE UK’s Lamhe ceases broadcasting

ZEE Network UK’s channel dedicated to classic programming and movies has ceased broadcasting nearly two years after its launch. The channel will now broadcast promos and teasers ahead of its official launch next week.

During its time, Lamhe has regularly pulled in an average 400,000 viewers per week. The channel shut down its transmission at midday today, leaving the network to tease viewers with its new offering, &TV, which replaces Lamhe on Sky Digital and Virgin Media on Monday (6th April) at 19:00.

&TV is touted to become a bigger service by ZEE Network with its original programming including Shah Rukh Khan۪s gameshow India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun۪, which will air daily at 21:00.
