ZEE UK to premiere ‘Chennai Express’ on Diwali

ZEE Network UK has confirmed to BizAsia that it will be premiering this year’s biggest Bollywood hit ‘Chennai Express’ on ZEE Cinema during Diwali weekend.

The romantic-comedy, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, proved a monstrous at the box office when it was released in August. The film has emerged as one of the biggest Bollywood films ever to release.

‘Chennai Express’ will air on Sunday 20th October on ZEE India, whereas UK viewers will have to wait until Saturday 2nd November for the premiere. The movie is being billed as the huge Diwali offering for ZEE subscribers.
