ZEE Network is launching a new mobile service, which will give its UK customers free access to watch ZEE channels live and on-demand through their mobile phones, desktop and tablet devices.

The service, known as Ditto TV, has already made a successful launch outside the UK and this will be the first time, it will be given access to UK viewers who subscribe to the ZEE channels on Sky Digital. Ditto TV will be completely free to ZEE UK subscribers on Sky Digital. The application will allow viewers to watch ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, ZEE News, ZEE Punjabi, Zing, Lamhe and a slew of other regional language channels, which are not available in the UK but broadcast in India.

Ditto TV already has partnerships in place (excluding UK) with other leading content providers namely such as IndiaCast (Colors, News18 India) Multi Screen Media (Sony Entertainment Television), Sri Adhikari Brothers, TV Today Network, BBC, and Big CBS. Only the Star Network channels are not currently available on Ditto TV. In the UK, Star TV operates its live mobile streaming service through Sky Go.

Viewers who want to make use of the service are being directed to register via ZEE Network’s UK website here. The launch date for Ditto TV UK goes live later this week.
