ZEE UK recognised by NHS for its support during pandemic

The NHS has recognised the hard efforts made by broadcasters during the coronavirus pandemic. In a letter to popular Asian TV broadcaster, ZEE UK, the health service thanked “for the support that you have provided during the height of pandemic to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, protecting the NHS and saving lives.”

The letter was addressed to Abhijit Sen, who was handling the NHS account for ZEE UK. The letter added, “Thanks to partners such as yourselves we have communicated with a wide range of people: provided them with emergency messaging around staying at home, advised them of behaviours to adopt to help keep them and their loved ones safe, and of course mobilised the uptake of COVID-19 vaccinations, helping break the link between infections and hospitalisations.”

The letter concluded with, “Your invaluable support to help get essential information out to our communities has helped get us to where we are today, and we look forward to working together again in the future.”

Over recent years, ZEE UK has continued to flourish with some exciting initiatives under the helm of Parul Goel. The broadcaster has recently extended its reach by launching ZEE TV HD, also adding ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema on Sky Glass, amongst others.
