ZEE TV’s much awaited new celebrity talent show ‘Star Ya Rockstar’ is creating momentum by the day.
The programme will see celebrities sing and compete with each other. While Sony TV favourite Mona Singh has been confirmed as the host of the show, seven other celebrities will fight for the pole position.
A home-grown format, ��Star Ya Rockstar�۪ will see contestants endure heartbreaking eliminations every Saturday and embark on a journey filled with fun and shocking moments as viewers see a new side of their personalities in the most intense competition over nine weeks. Each contestant will chart his path on the show as an individual and not as part of any team. While fun-filled Saturdays will see the judge selecting the best two and the bottom three among the performances, Sundays will be a time for eliminations.
Ragini Khanna, Neha Marda, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sumit Raghavan, Mansi Parekh, Chhavi Mittal and Manish Paul have been finalised as the celebrities to take part in the show.

‘Star Ya Rockstar’ will launch in the UK on Saturday 8th October. It will air Saturday and Sunday evenings – in place of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Lil Champs’ which ends this Saturday (1st October).
