ZEE TV’s ‘Sanjog Se Bani Sangini’ faces axe

ZEE TV is monitoring its primetime daily show, ‘Sanjog Se Bani Sangini’ closely to see if ratings improve.

The Iqbal Khan starrer has not been able to live up to expectations with low viewer-interest. According to sources, the channel has now given the show an ultimatum to perform or perish. The show will now bring in a new track to improve its ratings.

A source from TellyChakkar said, “The show has just brought in a new character and taken a three-month progression where Pihu has turned positive all this in the effort to improve the ratings. Now the story will focus on Rudra and Gauri a bit more too. If the show fails to improve then it might be pulled off air in a few months.”

Iqbal and Binny Sharma (Gauri) remained unavailable to comment. Additi Gupta who plays Pihu says, “I have no idea at all. I haven�۪t heard of anything of this sort.”
