ZEE TV’s ‘Maayka’ to end in August

ZEE TV’s long running show ‘Maayka’ is coming to a natural end in August.

The drama, which airs in the UK weeknights at 22:00 will end towards the end of August (14th August in India).

A from the show told TellyChakkar, “Yes, Maayka is finally ending. We have been hearing about the show�۪s fate for sometime and now it has been sealed. The show has done well throughout its span of two years. It�۪s disheartening that the show is coming to an end but it is in the best interest of the channel.”

According to various souces, the show that is expected to replace ‘Maayka’ is Contiloe�۪s ‘Rani Lakhsmi Bai’. The show�۪s promos are currently running on the channel. ‘Rani Lakshmi Bai’ stars the likes of Kratika Sengar, Ulka Gupta, Aroona Irani and Mithkesh Chaturvedi.
