ZEE TV’s ‘Guddan: Tumse Na Ho Payega’ to get spin-off series on ZEE5

ZEE TV’s popular show ‘Guddan: Tumse Na Ho Payega’ will be getting a spin-off series, which will stream exclusively on its digital platform, ZEE5.

Reports say that the finite series will consist of 50 episodes. It will be be based on Guddan’s distant cousin, Bittan, who admires the female protagonist. The story will revolve around Bittan’s aspirations to work in films. A source told Bollywood Life, “She dreams to be the heroine of Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar’s movies and as a result moves to the city of dreams, Mumbai. However, once Bittan visits Mumbai she realises that life isn’t that easy.”

Producer Ved Raj, Head of Shoonya Square said, “Yes we are currently working on it, since Guddan: Tumse Na Ho Payega enjoys huge popularity online, it’s spin-off will be made as a digital show. I won’t be able to divulge many details, but all I can say is that it is going to be a quirky rom-com with the flavour of Guddan.”
