ZEE TV’s Astitva to run daily from next month

ZEE TV’s much loved drama series Astitva Ek Prem Kahani is following the other serials on the channel by switching to Monday-Friday instead of the current run of Monday-Thursday.

Only recently ZEE TV’s serials Piya Ka Ghar, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Tumhari Disha, Sarkaar and Reth were extended to run Monday-Friday. The latest move follows the new twist in Astitva Ek Prem Kahani for the drama’s protagonist Simran, played by Nikki Aneja. Speaking to Mid-Day magzine; ?An extra episode means added drama in Nikki?s life and more days of shooting,? says producer-director Ajai Sinha. ?Tonight?s episode signals doom for Nikki. The terrorist attack and bomb blast claims her daughter Aastha?s (Yuvika Chaudhary) life. Nikki also gets blinded in the attack,? he adds. The ray of hope in Dr Simran?s life comes in the form of Sakshi, the doctor who comforts and takes care of her.

The changes in Astitva will be unveiled in the next couple of weeks, with the new time slot of Monday-Friday occurring in November. This results in Rabba Ishq Na Hove being shifted to a new time from its existing Friday 8pm slot. More on this as we receive it.

The latest hard hitting storyline in Astitva Ek Prem Kahani could be its last as the show bids adieu in December.
