ZEE TV wields its axe on ‘Woh Apna Sa’ & ‘Piyaa Albela’

With the likes of Star Plus, Colors and Sony Entertainment axing shows that are underperforming, ZEE TV has become the latest channel to wield the dreaded axe.

Its been reported that ZEE TV will be shutting down two fictions from its line-up later this month. The first is ‘Woh Apna Sa’, which started off well but has recently struggled in ratings. The second is ‘Piyaa Albela’ from Rajshri Productions. While, both shows have their army of fans, they did not translate into TRPs in India ratings.

ZEE TV is yet to announce their replacements.
