ZEE TV UK to air ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ in afternoon slot to “combat piracy”

In an ongoing revolutionary move, ZEE TV UK has announced that it will be broadcasting its much awaited reality singing show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ in the afternoon slot (with a repeat scheduled during primetime).

Over the last few weeks, ZEE TV UK has been innovative with its programming scheduling. For the first time for an Indian broadcaster, all of its original weekday shows were moved to an afternoon slot and now the channel is using the same initiative for ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’.

Not only does this give ZEE TV UK an edge over its rivals when others are broadcasting repeats or films during the afternoon time band but also it gives viewers access to original content at the same time as India – a move to combat piracy.

‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is a three-month series, which is expected to pay dividends to the broadcaster. Previously, the show has done incredibly well for ZEE TV in UK ratings.
