ZEE TV UK to add horror movie slot at weekends

ZEE TV UK has been in revamp mode recently with a number of changes already witnessed by viewers. The channel is now set to add a third movie to its weekend schedule, hoping to further attract new eyeballs.

Starting this weekend, 1st June, ZEE TV will launch a horror movie slot, which will play out directly after its reality series time band at 21:00. The channel has scheduled ‘Raat’ and ‘1920 London’ as the first two horror movies to be aired. Horror shows ‘Fear Files’ and ‘Daayan’ will be discontinued by the channel, which were earlier scheduled in the weekend 21:30 – 23:30 slot.

The channel is already heavy on movies at the weekends with two films during daytime at 11:00 and 15:00. The earlier movie slot is used for more classic movie titles, while the second is used for more recent films.
