ZEE TV UK re-run classic shows in afternoon band

ZEE TV UK will be following in the footsteps of Star Plus by opening up its afternoon band for a re-run of classic shows.

Starting from Monday 11th February, ZEE TV UK will broadcast ‘Tashan-e-Ishq’, ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’, ‘Punar Vivaah’ and ‘Rab Se Sohna Isshq’ between 13:00 – 15:00. All three shows performed well first time around and the broadcaster is reviving them to beef up its afternoon band. The slot was earlier used to air repeats of ZEE TV primetime shows. Later in the afternoon, ‘Kaleerein’ will take the 17:30 slot on ZEE TV.

Star Plus’ ‘Star Plus Dopahar’ has done remarkably well for the channel in the UK, with some shows performing better than prime time offerings on rival services. ZEE TV is hoping to replicate the same success.
