ZEE TV UK extends two dramas to Saturdays

ZEE TV UK has confirmed to BizAsia that it will be extending two weekday primetime dramas to Saturdays, which means they will broadcast over six nights, as oppose to five currently.

‘Afsar Bitiya’ and ‘Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke’ will both change times to accommodate the schedule reshuffle. From Tuesday 23rd October, ‘Afsar Bitiya’ and ‘Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke’ will air at 18:30 and 19:00 respectively. The daily news bulletin will shift to 18:00, which currently sits at 18:30.

Another change taking place during this week only will be one hour special episodes of ‘Pavitra Rishta’, which will broadcast between 20:30 and 21:30.

The following week will see the launch of new drama ‘Qubool Hai’ launch in the 20:30 slot from Tuesday 30th October. ‘Pavitra Rishta’ will continue in its 30-minute slot at 21:00 thereafter.

Star Plus is also experimenting the Monday – Saturday format with two of its own dramas ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai�۪.
