ZEE TV to rest ‘Dance India Dance’ for ‘Cinestars…’

ZEE TV will be resting its dance reality TV show ‘Dance India Dance’ for at least a year, to concentrate on alternative reality shows including ‘Cinestars Ki Khoj’ and the return of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’.

Starting on Saturday 5th July, ‘Cinestars Ki Khoj’ will see auditions of wannabe actors. It is a platform where contestant will showcase their acting prowess to the world. The show will provide a platform to every person who has dreamt of acting on the silver screen.

‘Dance India Dance’, which has been running successfully for the past seven years in the weekend slot on ZEE TV, will return sometime next year so the channel can experiment with other type of shows. Another the channel is bringing back is ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ but after recent seasons of the show not doing well, it will be interesting to see how they turn this around. Auditions for ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ commence this weekend in India. The show is expected to take the weekend slot after ‘Cinestars Ki Khoj’.
