ZEE TV to launch two new dramas in January

ZEE TV UK has confirmed it will be launching two new dramas in January.

The channel has been struggling to find a slot in its primetime schedule to accommodate new offerings due to an overload of original shows.

Currently ZEE TV has all original shows from 18:00 – 23:30 weeknights. Adding further originality will be ‘Choti Bahu’ and ‘Ranbir Rano’, both, which started on ZEE TV India earlier this year.

‘Choti Bahu’ will replace ‘Sath Sath’, which comes to an end after only a few months on-air. It will take the 19:00 slot from Monday 12th January.

‘Ranbir Rano’ will be shown in an mini-omnibus edition on Fridays at 20:00 consisting of two episodes per week. It will replace ‘Waris’, which too had a short shelf life.

In other soap news, ‘Teen Bahuraniyaan’ will spread across the week. Currently it is shown Monday to Thursday. From Monday 12th January the Paresh Rawal produced show will air Monday to Friday.
