ZEE TV will be extending its current weekday 19:00 – 20:00 offerings to Saturdays from next week.

The two shows ‘Bandhan’ at 19:00 and new show ‘Hello Pratibha’ at 19:30 (replacing Sapne Suhane) will air Monday to Saturday. Incidentally, ‘Hello Pratibha’ launches on Tuesday 26th January 2014 (Wednesday 27th January in UK) and revolves around Pratibha, a mother of two grown-up children. Family has been her sole priority as she has spent 16 years of her life devoted to her husband, kids and in-laws. Before her marriage, Pratibha was a girl filled with hope, ambition and talents of her own and is today a middle-aged housewife faced with an identity crisis. Her struggle is for things as basic as identity and existence as she longs to be acknowledged as a person.

‘Maharakshak Aryan’, which currently airs at 19:00 will be taking a season break and is expected to return in March. ZEE TV programming head Namit Sharma explained to Television Post, Before we launch the next show in the Maharakshak series, we had the opportunity to extend this show and allow greater sampling. Aryan moves to a different time slot for a week and the next one starts 45 weeks later. So we just created a little space. There is a lot of variety we are planning for the channel.۝
