ZEE TV to air ZEE5 digital shows for first time during coronavirus crisis

ZEE TV will begin broadcasting digital shows from its streaming platform, ZEE5, as a part of measures to fill-up schedules during the coronavirus crisis.

Starting from Wednesday 25th March, ZEE TV India will air ‘Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat’, ‘Baarish’ and ‘Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain’ for the firs time on television on weeknights between 21:00 – 22:00.

‘Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ stars Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar (pictured), while ‘Baarish’ has a cast leading with Sharman Joshi and Asha Negi. The third series ‘Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain’ is a love triangle between characters played by Ronit Roy, Gurdeep Kohli and Mona Singh.

All shooting schedules of films, TV shows and digital content have been put on hold to avoid the spread of coronavirus. During this time, a number of TV shows have finished the bank of fresh episodes being telecast and thus broadcasters are relying on re-runs, repeats and digital shows to fill vacant slots.

ZEE TV UK is yet to confirm whether it will implement the change to its schedule.
