ZEE TV ropes in Ex-Star Plus Weekend Prog. head

Former Star Plus Weekend Programming Head, Zulfia Waris has joined ZEE TV to lead the channel’s non-fiction programming.

After the exit of Namit Sharma at ZEE TV in April, the channel will now have heads for fiction and non-fiction. While, fiction programming will be overseen by Rohini Singh, Waris will be in charge of non-fiction on the channel.

Confirming the news to TelevisionPost, Waris stated that at ZEE TV she is required to introduce and develop new formats, revamp the present non-fiction properties of the channel, and build on events and other new properties.
