ZEE TV planning new show with Shah Rukh Khan

ZEE TV is planning a new show featuring Shah Rukh Khan, which could hit the tube quite soon, according to reports.

After his previous stints on Star Plus with shows like ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?’, this time ZEE TV is trying to lure the superstar for a show. At the launch of the ZEE Cine Awards last week, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, MD and CEO Punit Goenka said, “Just to tell all of you, we are working to see if we can bring him on television again very soon. Let’s hope it happens soon.”

King Khan said, “Today stardom is not about awards and box office, but about who has a bigger TV show. So I am trying to do something. I have told Punit and the ZEE family to look out for something for me.”

Khan kicked off his career with ‘Fauji’ in 1988 and was later seen in ‘Circus’ in 1989.
