ZEE TV HD begins testing ahead of Sky launch

ZEE TV HD has begun testing ahead of its Sky launch next week.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , ZEE TV HD will launch on Thursday 1st March. It will replace &TV HD, which ceased broadcasting yesterday.

Even though the tests are not yet visible, Sky have been configuring the set-up for the launch next week.

ZEE TV was the only channel out of the Big Four in India not to broadcast in HD in the UK. It will compete directly with Star Plus HD, Sony Entertainment Television HD and Colors HD.

Tests of ZEE TV HD can be viewed at the following parameters below:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.509 (V), FEC: 2/3, SR: 23000 / DVB-S2 / 8PSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “55571″ service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “55571” to view the channel
