ZEE Sangam to launch in India with regional target
ZEE Network is rebranding its ZEE UP channel to ZEE Sangam and turning it into a national news channel, which will complement flagship service ZEE News.
Alok Agrawal, CEO of ZEE News, told Exchange4Media, ���We earlier had ZEE UP/Uttrakhand as one news channel. Our Terrestrial Entertainment Network (TEN) consists of ZEE Marudhara, ZEE Purvaiya and ZEE Kalinga. We already have a full news channel in ZEE UP and we are combining it into ZEE Sangam that will extensively cover news around UP and other parts of the country.�
He added that with ZEE Sangam will extend the platform in a better manner to target the consumer across sections. ZEE Sangam will be available pan India and will be present on all the leading DTH and cable platforms.
