ZEE Rishtey Awards to air in December

ZEE TV will be telecasting this year’s ZEE Rishtey Awards in December.

The event was held in Mumbai earlier this month and featured special performances by some of ZEE TV’s classic stars to celebrate the channel’s 20th birthday. Bollywood singer, Sonu Nigam host the show along with Jay Bhanushali.

NY Daily News reports that ‘Dance India Dance Li’l Masters’ finalists put up an impressive horror-themed dance performance. Dressed as ghosts and Dracula, they shook a leg on songs like “Yeh Raat” and “Zinda”. While Kratika Sengar of ‘Punar Vivah’ grooved to “Dil mera muft ka”, Narayani Shastri of ‘Phir Subah Hogi’ danced to “Bedardi raja”. Vindhya Tiwari from ‘Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein’ shook a leg on “In aankhon” and Ankita of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ fame performed on “Jhalla”.

The event will be telecast on ZEE TV India on Sunday 2nd December and on Saturday 29th December at 21:00 on ZEE TV UK (including red carpet event).
