ZEE reaffirms commitment to merger with Sony
ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has reaffirmed its commitment to the merger with Sony, despite reports that the latter was planning to pull out of the deal.
In an update to the the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday, ZEEL said, “We wish to reiterate that the company is committed to the merger with Sony and is continuing to work towards a successful closure of the proposed merger.”

On Monday, it was reported that Sony was planning to file a termination notice before the extended 20th January deadline to close the merger.
