ZEE Radio plans I-Day & Raksha Bandhan specials

ZEE Radio, the UK’s newest station available in Greater London has announced a slew of special shows this week to coincide with the ongoing festivities.

Starting on Thursday 14th August through to Friday 15th August, listen out for special patriotic music to mark Pakistan and India’s Independence Days. The Bollywood music station will also broadcast a ‘Bollywood Takeaway’ at 19:00 with history behind the days. Furthermore, ZEE Radio will be taking live updates from its ZEE News reporters on the processions taking place in India.

On Raksha Bandhan on Saturday 16th August, listen for a special ‘Bollywood Takeaway’ at 19:00, plus special star endorsements greeting all brothers and sisters all the best for the happy occasion.

There’s another exclusive – an interview with northern Punjabi lads RDB, who recently arranged the title track in the blockbuster ‘Singh Is Kinng’. Listen out for the interview with all three brothers on Saturday (16th August) at 13:00.
